General Dentistry

Crowns are used as a tooth restoration method to improve esthetics and are known to be very strong.  Most patients are
choosing crowns to replace older fillings and fix lost tooth structures.

Fillings are used to replace defects in teeth that result from decay.  Normally, a composite material is used that is very close to the natural tooth color making it almost invisible to detect.  The material is very strong and holds up very well for many years.

Bonding is the process of filling teeth (front and back) with a resin substance in order to restore damaged teeth.  This procedure may be used for severely decayed teeth, or to reshape and lighten teeth in some instances.  Many patients utilize bonding to cover up many flaws in their smile as well.  The process is simple, a hight intensity light is applied to the resin material and polished after it has hardened and in place.

Gum Treatment

Gum diseases, including gingivitis and periodontits can cause serious infections and utimately tooth loss if left untreated.  Caring Dentistry offers several procedures to get rid bacterial plaque and provides insight on how to mantain healthy gums and dental hygiene.

Tooth Extraction

If a tooth has been fractured or damaged from decay and is not repairable, the dentist will perform tooth extraction
procedures to remove the tooth.  Surgical extraction may also be used for patients that will need orthondontic work, have an extra tooth that inhibits the growth of another tooth, or painful molars (commonly called wisdom teeth).

Restorative Services

Popular restorative services include Dentures and Partials.  Often times, patients require several restorative procedures in order to bring out their beautiful smile.  Different cases need to be examined individually before identifying the proper solution.  However, patients can rest assured that Caring Dentistry has all the tools and expertise to properly restore teeth to a natural look and feel.

Dental Hygiene

It’s very important to visit the dentist for routine cleanings in order to maintain proper hygiene.  Also, the dentist may identify potential problems during cleaning visits and advise on brushing and flossing techniques to help you keep your beautiful smile.
